Catamount Athletics and the Catamount Sports Network provide radio and online audio broadcasts of many of Western Carolina's sports including Catamount football, Catamount men's basketball, Catamount women's basketball, and Catamount baseball, with select broadcasts of Catamount softball. Football and men's basketball have an over-the-air radio broadcast component with each broadcast streamed online through CatamountSports.com.

Western Carolina and the Southern Conference continue the partnership with the ESPN providing Catamount Athletics the avenue to broadcast on the ESPN family of networks including online digital streaming through ESPN+ and ESPN3. Most all of WCU's home events are produced by the Catamount Athletics Video Operations.
The Southern Conference also has linear television deals with the Nexstar Broadcasting Group that provides Catamount Athletics with a select number of games televised over the group's footprint that includes Western North Carolina and the Metro Charlotte area, among others.
