Redshirt freshman L.T. Lockett poured in a game-high 22 points, draining three 3-pointers and making 5-of-6 free throws. Sophomore Terrence Woodyard scored a career-high 18 points, going 7-of-9 from the field, with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Others to score in double figures were Alex Osipovitch (12), Kori Hatcher (12), Jared Outing (13) and Kevin Martin (12). Western raced out to a 12-0 lead to start the contest. Midway through the first half, the Cats went on an 18-6 run to grab a 22-point lead (41-19 with 8:14 left). The Eagles' Ben Bryant hit a 3-pointer to make the score 41-22 and the 19 point deficit would be as close as Toccoa would get the remainder of the night. WCU took a 58-26 lead at the break, shooting a blistering 64.9 percent from the field.

Lockett drained a 3-pointer to open the second half to keep Western's momentum rolling. The Fairburn, Ga., native would score 20 of his 22 points in the final 20 minutes.

Toccoa Falls was led by James Rowell, who scored 15 points. Jared Walker and Amin Embry added nine and eight points, respectively.

The 100-point game was the first for the Cats since falling to Stetson, 104-102, in double overtime last season. Also, with the win, the Cats only need three more victories to reach 1,000 in this the program's 75th season of basketball.

Western Carolina returns to action next Saturday (Nov. 30) as the Cats host Southeastern College. Game time is set for 2:00 pm in the Ramsey Center.
