Western Carolina University Sports Medicine

The Western Carolina University Sports Medicine staff provides athletic training services to the WCU student-athletes through two locations; the Catamount Sports Medicine Center is located on the first floor of the Liston B. Ramsey Regional Activity Center, adjacent to the Dale & Diane Hollifield Football Locker rooms, just off the turf of Bob Waters Field at E.J. Whitmire Stadium. It is utilized by football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, baseball, women's tennis, men's and women's golf, and Catamount cheerleading. The Catamount Sports Medicine Center staffs four full-time Certified Athletic Trainers and one Certified Athletic Training Intern.

To better serve WCU's student-athletes, the WCU Sports Medicine Staff opened the Camp Lab Sports Medicine Center in the Cordelia Camp Gymnasium during the summer of 2013. This facility serves men's and women's track & field, men's and women's cross country, women's soccer, softball, and Catamount Cheer. The Camp Lab Sports Medicine Center staffs two full-time Certified Athletic Trainers and one Certified Athletic Training Intern.

WCU Sports Medicine also utilizes two satellite facilities on game days at both the Catamount Athletic Complex (women's soccer, track & field and women's tennis) and the Catamount Softball Complex.
