Elissa Weeks joined the Western Carolina Sports Medicine team in the fall of 2024. Weeks has worked primarily with the Catamount women’s basketball team during her time at WCU.
Before coming to Cullowhee, Weeks worked as an aide at Mountain View Physical Therapy and Sports Injury Clinic in Great Falls, Mont. While in Montana, she also worked as an athletic trainer with the independent league baseball team, the Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer League, for two seasons.
Originally from Callahan, Fla., Weeks graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fla., with a bachelor's in kinesiology. She received her Master of Athletic Training from Ohio University in 2023.
