Greenville, S.C. - Western Carolina University came back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat Presbyterian College 4-3 in women's tennis action Friday afternoon at the Callaway Tennis Courts.
The Blue Hose swept all three doubles matches to gain the match's first point. The key doubles match was at the #1 flight as PC's Lauren Brown and Elise Netzler came back from a 7-2 deficit to defeat WCU's Rocio Perez and Erin Johnson 9-7.
PC took a 3-0 lead after Amanda Floyd defeated Elysa Montgomery 6-1, 6-1 at #6 singles and Taylor Lynch beat Johnson 6-4, 6-2 at #3 singles.
Western Carolina responded by winning the remaining four singles matches with Kristin Munn defeating PC's Netzler 6-2 ,6-1 to claim the deciding point to win the match.
