Post-Game Notes

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Mike Rucker ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns and Ben Widmyer had two passing scores to lead No. 6 Wofford to a 42-14 win over Western Carolina on Saturday.

Widmyer, who completed all of his seven pass attempts, threw for 129 yards for Wofford (5-1, 3-0 Southern Conference).

The Catamounts (2-6, 0-4) took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter when Marquel Pittman caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Zack Jaynes, who finished with 126 yards passing.

Andy Horn completed 11 of 18 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. Quan Warley ran for 91 yards on 18 attempts, while Marquel Pittman had 84 yards receiving on nine catches, a career-high.
