CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Four players scored in Western Carolina women's soccer's 4-0 victory at Chattanooga Friday at Finley Stadium. Western Carolina scored two goals in each half.

The Catamounts (5-3-4, 2-0-1 Southern Conference) scored the most goals of the season with the four against the Mocs who falls to 0-9-1 and 0-2-0 in the SoCon. The shutout was the fifth on the year for WCU.

Western Carolina wasted no time getting on the scoreboard with the first career goal for redshirt freshman Taylor Webb. At 13:59 junior Kelly Pannell took the WCU free kick and passed it to Wood three yards inside the box for the score. It was Pannell's second assist of the year.

Just before the half, at 36:22, the Catamounts tacked on the second goal of the game when Caitlyn Bradham passed a through ball to Madison Lee who scored from 10 yards out. Bradham's second assist on the year pushed her point total to eight which leads the team.

The game stayed at 2-0 for most of the second half before Western Carolina got into a scoring frenzy in the final 12 minutes of the game.

Freshman forward Chandler Arrowood had a one-on-one with the Chattanooga goalkeeper Hanna Dunn and passed it to Sara Robinson who punched it in for the score at 76:19. Junior Courtney Rosu scored the final goal of the game, and her second of the season, when she scored off a throw in by Haven Leland.

Western Carolina's victory over Chattanooga was the Catamounts fourth win in the last five games with the fifth game being a 1-1 double overtime tie with Furman. The Catamounts have allowed just one goal over the last five games.
