SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Western Carolina women's soccer ended Friday's Southern Conference game at Wofford in a 1-1 double overtime tie at Snyder Field.

The Catamounts had to come from behind to knot the game after falling behind 1-0 at the 12th minute of the contest. Late in the first half, Western Carolina tied the game on redshirt sophomore Kasey Cooke's fifth goal of the season. Cooke took a throw in from senior Amanda Schwartz and shot the ball into the middle of the net for the score.

Western Carolina took a whopping 20 shots in the game and had quality looks at the net. The Catamounts looked like they might end the game in the first overtime when in back-to-back corner kicks WCU narrowly missed sending the ball into the back of the net. A solid pair shots by Kelly Pannell in the final minute of the first overtime just barely missed going into the goal.

Turning Point
At the 35th minute Cooke tied the game after WCU was trailing 1-0 against Wofford.
