JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- After the game was delayed for over 30 minutes, due to the ETSU men's soccer match going into overtime, Western Carolina women's soccer was dropped by ETSU women's soccer 3-1 Friday at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
At the 20th minute, Western Carolina got on the scoreboard first when the Catamounts got a goal courtesy of an ETSU own goal. The Catamounts carried the 1-0 lead until late in the first half when the Buccaneers found the back of the net.
ETSU scored a goal at the 42nd minute to tie the game before the half. The Buccaneers notched a pair of goals in the second half to secure the key Southern Conference win.
There were 14 shots between the two teams with ETSU having nine and Western Carolina with five.
WCU will have six days off before returning to action next Friday hosting the Citadel at 7 p.m. at the Catamount Athletic Complex.
Turning Point
ETSU's Sarah Zadrazil broke open a 1-1 tie when she scored at the 80th minute from an assist by Molly Collinson.

- ETSU's Simone Koren has an assist and a goal in the game.
- Kelly Pannell and Alexa Frankeny had a pair of shots for WCU.

- Western Carolina scored the first goal of the game off an own goal by ETSU at 19:47.
