East Bay Deli Classic - Round 2 Results 

Kiawah Island, S.C. - Western Carolina men's golf remains in 12th-place overall after 36 holes at the East Bay Deli Classic, hosted by Charleston Southern at the par-72, 6,911-yard Turtle Point Golf Course. The Catamounts shot 21 strokes better on day two collectively as a team at 300 for a two-day score of 621.

Paired with golfers from Francis Marion and Winthrop, WCU's scoring side will tee-off between holes 11 and 13 in Tuesday's final round shotgun start. The third round is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am.

Senior Bright Julamool advanced 17 positions on the individual leaderboard on Monday, carding a season-best round of 1-under par, 71, for a two-day total of 152 (81-71). The Bangkok, Thailand, native moved into a team-best tie for 22nd overall. Three birdies amidst his first seven holes moved Julamool to 3-under par before a bogey on the par-4 17th left him making the turn to the front nine at 2-under. Back-to-back bogies on holes two and three relegated him back to even-par for the day until a fourth birdie on the par-5 fifth moved him to 1-under where he finished the day.

Freshman Michael Coe also had a solid performance, advancing nine spots in the standings by trimming eight strokes off his second round score with a 1-over par, 73, for a two-day tally of 154 in a tie for 30th. The Cary, N.C., product had a productive round, countering three bogeys with a pair of birdies with 13 pars.

WCU's first-round leader, senior Dylan MacQueen, slid 24 spots on Monday into a tie for 32nd with an 8-over par round of 80 and a two-day total of 155. MacQueen carded his seventh birdie of the tournament on the par-3 fourth and collected a hole-in-one on the par-3, 178-yard seventh to highlight his day. MacQueen leads the field in par-3 scoring a 4-under (2.50).

Rounding out WCU's scorers were junior transfer George Whitbread who moved up four spots into a tie for 58th overall at 160 (84-76) and freshman Chandler Metz sitting in a two-way tie for 82nd with rounds of 88 and 80 (168). Senior Jackson Bishop sitting in 91st overall with a two-day total of 176 (92-84).

Playing unattached as an individual, freshman Zach Caudill moved up seven positions into a tie for 79th overall with a score of 165, shooting 75 on Monday after posting a 90 in Sunday's first round.

First-round leader, No. 26 Tennessee, continues to pace the field, building a 10-stroke lead over second-place Chattanooga, 584-to-594. Jacksonville State jumped two spots into a tie for third with first-round runner-up, Rutgers, at 598, with the College of Charleston rounding out the top five at 605.

Tennessee teammates Rhys Nevin-Wharton and Lorenzo Scalise are tied with High Point's Emile Menard atop the individual leader board with matching scores of 1-over par, 145. Menard advanced from a 25th-place tie after the first round with the Monday's best score of 5-under par, 67.
