CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina women's soccer turned in a dominating defensive performance, controlling the ball for nearly the full 90 minutes of the contest, to defeat visiting UNC Asheville 1-0 Sunday at the Catamount Athletic Complex.

At the 26th minute, Western Carolina senior Eynde Frazier scored the lone goal in the match.
