Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina men's basketball remains at home on Tuesday as the Catamounts welcome North Carolina A&T to the Ramsey Center at 7 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ (paid subscription required) along with free live stats through www.catamountsports.com.
WCU is 1-1 following a 71-59 win over Gardner-Webb on Saturday in the home opener. Mason Faulkner scored a career-high 22 points and dished out six assists. Faulkner has scored 21 and 22 points, respectively in his first two games as a Catamount. Carlos Dotson (15 points) and Kameron Gibson (13 points) both finished in double figures. Xavier Cork grabbed a career-best nine rebounds and also tallied seven points.
North Carolina A&T is 1-1 with a season-opening 80-53 loss at UNCG on Nov. 5 and a 63-49 home win against Charleston Southern on Nov. 8. Ronald Jackson leads the team with 15.0 points per game. Kameron Langley is averaging close to a double-double with 10.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
Tuesday's game is the first meeting between the schools since an 83-69 North Carolina A&T win in Cullowhee on Jan. 14, 1988. The Aggies lead the all-time series 6-3.
Western Carolina journeys to Florida State on Friday, facing the Seminoles at 7 p.m. in a contest that will be broadcast on Fox Sports South.
