Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina Athletics and the Catamount Sports Network (CSN) will host several Facebook LIVE broadcast events through the remainder of the fall semester with each presented by the Stanberry Insurance Agency.
Co-hosted by CSN personalities Gary Ayers and
Daniel Hooker, the first of the three scheduled Facebook LIVE broadcast events for October and November is set for Wednesday, Oct. 14 beginning at 7:00 pm. WCU's first-year director of athletics
Alex Gary and Southern Conference Commissioner Jim Schaus are slated to be the guests with the varied topics to span COVID-19 and the rescheduling of postponed fall athletic events to outlooks for a busy spring 2021 and the celebration of the SoCon's 100th anniversary.

On Monday, Oct. 26, Western Carolina head football coach
Mark Speir and his two coordinators –
John Holt on offense and
Andy McCollum on defense – are scheduled for a 7:00 pm online broadcast. The Catamount football coaches will provide updates on fall 2020 practice and 2020-21 season outlook that includes three nonconference road games this fall and a conference slate for the spring semester.
The online video broadcast series continues two weeks later as both head men's basketball coach
Mark Prosser and head women's basketball coach
Kiley Hill take center court at 7:00 pm to talk about the start of the 2020-21 basketball seasons.
A fourth event for the fall semester is tentatively slated for mid-December that is expected to include a recap of the fall, updates on the men's and women's hardwood, and outlooks leading into 2021.
