CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina looks to sweep the season series over Wofford on Saturday as the Catamounts visit Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium for a 7 p.m. clash against the Terriers. The Catamounts haven't swept the regular season series with the Terriers since winning both games during the 2006-07 season.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ (paid subscription required) with audio coverage available on the Catamount Sports Network.
WCU is 15-9 overall and 7-6 in the Southern Conference following an 82-62 loss at UNCG on Wednesday.
Carlos Dotson tallied a career-high 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for his 14
th double-double of the season.
Onno Steger finished in double figures for the fourth straight game with 14 points.
Wofford is 16-10 and 8-5 after a 70-68 home loss to Mercer on Wednesday. Chevez Goodwin logged a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Storm Murphy (15 points) and Nathan Hoover (10 points) also finished in double figures.
Wofford leads the all-time series 30-29 after the Catamounts claimed an 81-72 win on Jan. 25 in Cullowhee to end a five-game Terrier winning streak. In that game,
Mason Faulkner led four Catamounts in double figures with 25 points as WCU scored 45 points in the first half and made five free throws during the final minute to secure the win.
The Catamounts open a three-game homestand on Wednesday, hosting VMI at 7 p.m.
