Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina's home Southern Conference men's basketball game against the Samford Bulldogs scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 30 has been postponed due to positive COVID tests and quarantine requirements within Samford's program the conference office announced this evening. A combined four league games through Feb. 1 are affected.
Western Carolina (7-6, 0-4 SoCon) is scheduled to be on the road for its next two league games, traveling to Spartanburg, S.C., and league-leading Wofford (8-4, 5-1 SoCon) on Saturday (Jan. 23) with a 4:00 p.m. start. Next Wednesday (Jan. 27), the Catamounts visit VMI in Lexington, Va., with a 7:00 p.m. tip-off at Cameron Hall.
