CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina women's tennis and Lenoir-Rhyne will face-off for the second time in less than a week when the teams do battle at 3 p.m. Friday at the Catamount Athletic Complex.The Catamounts took the match on Jan. 24, 7-0 in the team's 2021 season opener.
In the earlier match with the Bears, the Catamounts had to battle back from a 1-1 tie at doubles when No. 1 doubles duo Jacy Smith and Julia Pezzuco came back from being down 0-3 to win 6-3 and capture the doubles point. WCU went on to sweep all six doubles points.
