Cullowhee, N.C. – Saturday's (Jan. 9) Southern Conference men's basketball game between Western Carolina and Samford scheduled for 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT in Birmingham, Ala., has been postponed due to continued COVID-19 quarantine requirements and protocols.
 
Western Carolina (7-3, 0-1 SoCon) is next slated to host in-state foe UNCG in the Ramsey Center on Wednesday, Jan. 13 with tip-off at 4 p.m. Samford (5-4, 1-1 SoCon) visits Chattanooga (9-2, 0-2 SoCon) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at McKenzie Arena.
