Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina women's golf returns to action Monday and Tuesday at the 2nd Annual Smithfield Foods Aggie Invitational, hosted by North Carolina A&T on the Champions Course at Bryan Park Golf in Greensboro, N.C.
The tournament consists of 54 holes including 36 holes on Monday, Oct. 4 and 18 holes on Tuesday, Oct. 5. Teams will compete in match-play through the first round before setting the second-round match-ups. In addition to the host Aggies and Catamounts, the eight-team, match-play field includes golfers from Alabama State, Appalachian State, Elon, Howard, North Carolina Central, and UNC Asheville. WCU is paired with mountain-rival UNCA entering the first round on Monday.
