Baseball Series Finale Against The Citadel Canceled

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Saturday's Southern Conference series finale between Western Carolina and The Citadel at Childress Field / Hennon Stadium has been canceled due to inclement weather and field conditions.

Saturday's game was scheduled as the third in a three-game set between the Bulldogs and Catamounts with WCU looking for a series sweep and ninth-straight seasonal win thanks to a 12-8 and 11-6 doubleheader sweep on Friday.

The Catamounts are back in action on Tuesday, traveling to No. 9 Tennessee for a 6:30 p.m. matchup at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The game will be streamed on SEC Network + (paid subscription required).
