CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina women's tennis travels to the middle part of the state, this weekend, to take on Davidson Saturday and North Carolina Central Sunday.Â

NOTES ON CATAMOUNTS:
- Western Carolina and Davidson meet for the 26th time on Saturday. The Wildcats have won the last six meetings. The Catamounts' lone win over Davidson came on Mar. 13, 2013, when WCU won 4-3 and counted as a Southern Conference win as Davidson was still in the conference at that time.
- The Catamounts and North Carolina Central meet up for the 11th time Sunday. WCU is 6-4 overall against the Eagles. Western Carolina has won the last three matches and 3-3 at North Carolina Central.Â
- Western Carolina is 5-4 on the season after getting a 6-1 win over Belmont Sunday. Antonella Benavides leads the team in singles with six wins getting two wins at No. 4 singles and four at No. 5 singles.
- Kata Foldeak is second in wins in singles play with five at No. 1 singles.Â
- Foldeak and doubles partner Jacy Smith have four wins at No. 1 doubles.Â

NOTES ON OPPONENTS:
- Davidson is 2-4 on the season with wins over Presbyterian and West Virginia State. The Wildcats lost to the Catamounts' fellow SoCon member ETSU 7-0 on Jan. 23.Â
- North Carolina Central is searching for its first win as it is 0-4 to start the season. The Eagles will host Longwood Friday before welcoming Western Carolina on Sunday. N.C. Central has also played a SoCon school this season falling to Wofford 6-1.
