AN INSIDE LOOK AT THE CATAMOUNTS:
- Western Carolina has recorded four shutouts over the last five matches with a record of 3-1-1.Â
- Junior goalkeeper Melody Mezzina has allowed only one goal over the last five contests since returning to the starting lineup against Gardner-Webb on Aug. 29. She has registered four shutouts and has an overall 0.19 goals against average.Â
- Mezzina's four shutouts lead the Southern Conference. She also ranks first in save percentage (.950).
- Three of Western Carolina's four wins this season have come on the road.Â
- Valentine Pursey and Kirsten Hahn each lead the Catamounts with two goals. Six different Catamounts have scored the eight goals this season for WCU.Â
- Western Carolina's 1-0 win over UT Martin on Sept. 12 halted a two-match streak of the Catamounts being held scoreless. The win also halted a high-powered Skyhawk offense that had scored 10 goals over the last three matches.Â
- The Catamounts face Ohio for the first time in the two program's history. The Bobcats are the first team from the MAC WCU has faced.

- Ohio is coming off a 3-1 win over Cleveland State, snapping a two-game losing streak.
- Overall the Bobcats are 4-2 on the season and 2-1 on the road.Â
- The Bobcats have scored eight goals on the season and given up five with three shutouts on the season.Â
- Shae Robertson is the only multi-goal scorer for Ohio with two on the season as seven different Bobcats have scored.Â
