CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina men's basketball remains at home on Wednesday night as the Catamounts host mountain-rival ETSU at 7 p.m. on Ingles Court at the Ramsey Center.
The first 300 students that show their Cat Card at Wednesday's game will receive a free Growl Towel, courtesy of Farm Bureau Insurance and Catamount Peak Apartments. Additionally, "Purple Thunder," the winter drumline of WCU's Pride of the Marching Band, is set to perform at halftime.
Admission to the game between Catamounts and Buccaneers is $11 for adults and $6 for youth 12 and under. Kids 2 and under get in free. WCU students gain free admission to the game by showing their Cat Card at the Northwest Entrance and are encouraged to sit in the Cat Cage student section located in sections QR.
A reminder that approved face coverings that properly cover the nose and mouth are required to be worn at all times within WCU campus buildings including the Ramsey Center when not actively eating or drinking. Fans are also asked to physically distance with arena seating limited to every other row inside the Ramsey Center. Additionally, fans are asked to leave two seats between their party and others.

Wednesday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ (
paid subscription required) with live Catamount Sports Network audio coverage commencing at 6:30 p.m., streaming online at CatamountSports.com and can be heard locally on 105.7 FM / 540 AM WRGC, The River.
WCU is 8-14 overall and 2-7 in the Southern Conference after a 74-64 home loss to Samford on Saturday afternoon.
Tyler Harris led the Catamounts with 14 points with
Joe Petrakis also finishing in double figures with 12 points.
Nicholas Robinson narrowly missed a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
ETSU is 12-11 overall and 4-6 in the SoCon following an 83-79 loss at VMI on Saturday. Jordan King led the Bucs with a career-best 27 points and was named the SoCon Player of the Week for his efforts, averaging 25.0 points in two league games last week. Ledarrius Brewer added 22 points with Mohab Yassar also finishing in double-digits with 11 points. ETSU enjoys four players in double figures this season with Brewer, King, and David Sloan each averaging over 13 points per game.
The Catamounts and Bucs meet for the 89th time on Wednesday with ETSU leading the series 63-25. ETSU has won 14 straight following an 87-69 win in Johnson City on Jan. 10. In that game, King paced the Bucs with a game-high 23 points with the Catamounts receiving a career-best 20 points from
Vonterius Woolbright.
WCU has a short turnaround prior to a rare Friday night matchup at VMI. Tip-off between the Catamounts and Keydets in Lexington, Va., is scheduled for 6 p.m.
