CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina women's tennis opens Southern Conference play on Friday traveling to ETSU for a 1 p.m. match.
The match will be played indoors at the Bristol Sportsplex.
The Catamounts are enjoying a four-match winning streak after they swept South Carolina State (5-2) and Presbyterian (6-1) last weekend. The 5-2 start is the best for the program since 2016.

- The Catamounts are 3-2 in road matches this season with the only road losses coming in a doubleheader against Clemson.
- Senior Jacy Smith has 28 wins in singles play and ranks sixth in the WCU record books.
- Sophomore Kata Foldeak leads the team with five wins in singles play.
