Western Carolina Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

The mission of Western Carolina's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to enhance the total student-athlete experience and offer input on the rules, regulations, and policies that affect the student-athlete experience. The committee is comprised of student-athlete representatives from the 16 sports on campus. The committee provides student-athletes with a voice to the administration, conference office, and the NCAA. WCU's SAAC Executive Officers and Representatives meet once a month and all student-athletes are welcome to attend.

Student-athletes have a voice in the NCAA through advisory committees at the campus, conference, and national level. Each committee is made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience and offer input on the rules, regulations, and policies that affect student-athletes' lives on campus.
