Catamounts Add Home Game to Close Out Season

Will play Emory & Henry for the second time this season

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina women's basketball has added a game to close out the home portion of its 2021-22 season with a second contest against Emory & Henry at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 on Ingles Court in the Ramsey Center. 
 
Previously, Western Carolina's final home game of the season was scheduled to be against Chattanooga in the second game of a double-header with men's basketball at 5 p.m. on Feb. 17. 
 
The Catamounts added a re-match with Emory & Henry due to the cancellation of its game against Southern Wesleyan on Jan. 17 due to inclement weather. Western Carolina opened the 2021-22 season against Emory & Henry on Nov. 9 defeating the Wasps 72-48.
 
Western Carolina plays two of its final three Southern Conference road games of the season this weekend traveling to Mercer Thursday and Samford on Saturday. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
