CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina women's tennis returns to the court Wednesday hosting Appalachian State a 2 p.m. at the Catamount Tennis Complex.
The match was originally scheduled for Feb. 27, but inclement weather forced the match to be pushed to Wednesday.
NEWS & NOTES
- Western Carolina had its four-match winning streak with a loss at ETSU on Feb. 18.
- The Catamounts will play its first match in 11 days when it faces the Mountaineers Wednesday.
- After the match with Appalachian State, Western Carolina hits the road for two-straight matches at UNCG and N.C. Central. After returning from the road, WCU will enjoy five consecutive home matches.
- Western Carolina added a match with Carson Newman on Mar. 12 at 3 p.m.
- The Catamounts and Mountaineers meet for the 42nd time. In the last match in Cullowhee, on Feb. 28, 2016, Western Carolina came out on top 5-2.
