- Western Carolina picked up a 5-2 win over Southeast Missouri on Mar. 13.
- WCU has won three of its last five matches and three of the last four.
- The Catamounts are 4-1 at home this season with the only loss to #69 Kennesaw State.
- Western Carolina has nine wins on the season and is chasing the program record of 13 set in 2016.
- Sophomore Kata Foldeak leads the team in singles and doubles victories. She has seven wins at No. 1 singles and eight victories in doubles.
- Western Carolina and UNC Asheville meet for the 34th time on Thursday. The Bulldogs hold a 24-18 advantage. WCU has won four of the last five matches including a 5-2 victory in 2021 in Asheville.
- UNCA is on a two-match losing streak snapping its eight-match winning streak to open the 2022 season. The Bulldogs have lost to Gardner-Webb (2-5) and UNC Wilmington (0-7) in the last two matches. Â
- Ami Grace Dougah leads UNCA with 10 wins in singles, nine of the 10 at No. 2. She also leads the team with eight wins in doubles.
