Cullowhee, N.C. – Five afternoon kickoff times highlight Western Carolina's 2022 home football schedule as the start times for games at E.J. Whitmire Stadium / Bob Waters Field were released today.
 
WCU's first two home games on Saturday, Sept. 17 against Presbyterian, and the Family Weekend contest against Southern Conference foe VMI on Saturday, Oct. 1, will both have a 3:30 p.m. kickoff in Cullowhee. The next two home dates against The Citadel on Heroes Day on Saturday, Oct. 22, and Homecoming 2022 against Wofford on Sat., Nov. 5, are set to begin at 2 p.m. The Catamounts' final home game on Saturday, Nov. 19 against Chattanooga will have a 1 p.m. kickoff for Senior Day.

Several start times for WCU's road games for 2022 have also been announced by the host schools and conferences as the full schedule continues to take shape. The season-opener at Charleston Southern on Labor Day weekend has been set for a Noon kickoff at CSU's Buccaneer Field on Saturday, Sept. 3. The following week, the Catamounts' visit to Atlanta against Georgia Tech has been designated for a 7 p.m. kickoff under the lights at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
 
One SoCon road game has also set a kickoff time as WCU travels to Mercer on Saturday, Oct. 8, for a 4 p.m. start at Five Star Stadium.
 
Season tickets and game day parking for Western Carolina's 2022 home schedule are on sale now through the Catamount Athletics ticket office, located on the first floor of the Ramsey Center, by phone at (828) 227-2401, or online at CatamountSports.com/BuyTickets. Returning WCU Football season ticket holders must renew their season tickets by Wednesday, June 1, 2022, to lock in their same seats from the previous year. Catamount Club membership renewals are due by the end of June.
