Cullowhee, N.C. – Three Western Carolina baseball games and one Catamount softball game have been selected to air regionally over-the-air on The CW 62 (Asheville) in conjunction with the partnership with Ingles and the Nexstar Media Group, it was announced this week.
 
Catamount baseball home games against Wofford scheduled for Saturday, April 15 (3 p.m.) and Sunday, April 16 (1 p.m.), as well as the mountain-rivalry game against UNC Asheville on May 3 (5 p.m.), are each a part of the four WCU games within the package. Also, the Catamount softball game against rival Appalachian State scheduled for Tuesday, April 18 (4 p.m.) will also air regionally on the station. Each game will also be simulcast on ESPN+ (paid subscription required).
 
The diamond package also picked up a trio of Wofford home games in Spartanburg, S.C., as a part of the scheduled telecasts.
 
Part of the Nexstar Media Group, which partners with Ingles and the Southern Conference for broadcasts throughout the year on both football and basketball broadcasts, the CW62 is the sister station to WSPA-TV out of Spartanburg, S.C.
