Cullowhee, N.C. – Friday's game three of the Southern Conference baseball series between Western Carolina and VMI has been postponed due to inclement weather and unfavorable forecasts officials with WCU Athletics announced this morning. The two teams will look to conclude the three-game conference series at the originally scheduled 2 p.m. start time on Saturday (April 8) at Childress Field / Hennon Stadium.
Rain overnight coupled with continued showers, some heavy at times, throughout the morning and forecasted to continue through the evening prompted the postponement of the series finale. Officials will reassess playability on Saturday morning with all efforts made to complete the series.
