Pascanel Ferreras doubled home the game's first run in the top of the first inning as the Catamounts drew three walks but stranded the bases loaded. Georgia had plated three runs for the 3-1 lead with one out in the bottom of the first when rain and lightning halted play. Following a 75-minute delay and thunderstorms still present, the game was rained out.
Statistics from Tuesday night will not count as the game did not reach an official length.
