CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina men's basketball head coach Justin Gray today announced the addition of Kamari Jones for the 2023-24 season. Jones is a 6'4" shooting guard from Indianapolis, Ind.
"I am so excited to have Kamari and his family join Catamount Country," said head coach Justin Gray. "He represents the Academics, Basketball, and Character of our program. Kamari really has an ability to score the basketball and he's ready to get here and work."
Jones spent his senior season at Hillcrest Prep in Gilbert, Ariz., Jones attended Lawrence Central High School in Indiana. During his prep career, Jones averaged 15.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game. He played AAU basketball for D1 Indiana.
Jones joins transfers Charles Lampton, Kamar Robertson, and Corneilous Williams along with freshmen Keshawn Brown Jr. and Kaleb Siler as newcomers for the 2023-24 season.
