Cullowhee, N.C. – As part of a summer communications internship, Western Carolina senior wide receiver David White conducted interviews with several members of WCU's program and asked each a series of questions to allow Catamount Nation to better know some of the new and returning members of the Catamount football team.

Christian Coulter. Originally from Thomson, Ga., Coulter enters his third season in the Purple & Gold after transferring from Tusculum ahead of the 2021 season. Since coming to Cullowhee, Coulter has started all 22 games over the last two seasons. He was a preseason second-team All-Southern Conference selection by the league's head coaches and is expected to pair with preseason first-teamer

If you could play alongside any football legend, past or present, who would it be and why?
"I would play with Trent Williams, who played for the San Francisco 49ers. Simply, he is one of the greatest to ever play the offensive line position."
Who has some of the best drip on the team?
"Skylin Thomas."
If you had the chance to switch positions on the field for one game, which position would you choose and why?
"I would choose middle linebacker so that I could make big hits and catch interceptions."
Outside of football what is your biggest life goal?
"To just be happy with whatever I choose to do in life and to make sure my family is good."
What's the most memorable moment you've experienced and what was going through your mind at that moment?
"My most memorable moment was winning my first championship as a starter in college. The only thing that was going through my mind was that I had won a championship and my mother was there to see it."
If you got to choose one WCU coach to suit up for a day who would it be and why?
"Our offensive coordinator, Coach Kade Bell because he swears he was 'oh so great' and he always swears that he is a 'real athlete'. Would like to see him play."
Who are your Top Three music artists that you listen to?
"NBA Youngboy, Rylo Rodriguez, Gunna."
Away from the football field, do you have any hobbies or talents that your fans might be surprised to learn about?
"I like to play video games and collect shoes."
What place would you want to travel to if all expenses were paid?
"Jamaica."
What advice would you give to young aspiring footballers who dream of making it to where you are today?
"Don't let anyone tell you that you aren't good enough or tell you that you can't do something because truly you can do whatever you put your mind to."
