CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Following a season opening win at mountain rival UNC Asheville on Thursday, the Western Carolina women's soccer team opens the home portion of its 2023 schedule on Sunday against Queens at 1 p.m.
Sunday's match will be streamed on ESPN+ (paid subscription required) with free live stats available on catamountsports.com. Fans in attendance will be able to purchase Kona Ice on site.

Isabella DeMarco scored the lone goal of the match in the 77
th minute to give the Catamounts a 1-0 win over the Bulldogs. The win is the fifth straight for the Catamounts in the all-time series against UNC Asheville.
Queens is 1-0 following a 1-0 home victory against Southern Conference foe Wofford on Thursday night. The Royals were picked to finish in a tie for ninth place in the 12-team ASUN Conference preseason poll and are in their second year of NCAA Division I membership.
Sunday's match is the first meeting on the pitch between the two schools.
The Catamounts open a two-match roadtrip on Wednesday, venturing to Winthrop for a 7 p.m. start with the match streamed on ESPN+ and live stats also available.
