The Catamounts are 2-2-3 on the season following a 1-1 tie against East Carolina at home on Sunday. The Pirates scored a goal in the first half, but the Catamounts got the equalizer in the 69th minute on a goal by Milla Syska. WCU had chances to score the winning goal in the waning moments. All three of WCU's home matches this season have ended in draws.

Presbyterian is 1-5-1 following a 3-0 setback at Davidson on Sunday. The Blue Hose are 1-2 at home with a win over Columbia International and losses against Southern Conference foe Furman as well as Navy. PC was picked eighth in the nine-team Big South Conference in the preseason poll.
