The Hoosiers have only lost to two SoCon teams, going 2-1 with Chattanooga and 0-1 with the Mercer Bears, who earned a win over the B1G foe before their time in the SoCon.
WCU looks to right the ship on the road this season, seeking its first win through four tries so far away from Cullowhee. The Catamounts are averaging 56.3 points per road game, but are relatively efficient from the floor, shooting 37% overall and 38.6% from beyond the arc on the road. The Catamounts have netted at least five 3-pointers in all four true road games this season, including a season-high nine at Wake Forest.
Indiana is red hot at home this year, starting the season 7-0 in Bloomington and scoring 74.9 points per game. The Hoosiers are shooting 48.6% from the floor in home contests this season and 37.6% from beyond the arc. However, Indiana is committing 14.3 turnovers per game, including 28 in a hard-fought 57-51 home win over Marshall. The six-point victory over the Thundering Herd is Indiana's closest home win of the season, with Marshall scoring 22 points off those 28 turnovers.
Players to Watch:
Junior transfer Ally Hollifield continues to lead the Catamounts in scoring, as she and sophomore Taj Hunter are the only two to average double-digit points with 11.7 and 11.4 marks, respectively. Betsey Burnett (106) and Ary Dizon (101) have both crossed the 100-point plateau with Hollifield (140) and Hunter (137), and Kehinde Obasuyi (63) ranking fifth on the team in scoring.
Three Catamounts have at least 50 rebounds on the season, with Joyce Mulumba recording a team high 56 boards and a 4.7 per game average. Dizon leads the team in rebounds per game, chipping in 4.8, with Hollifield ranking third at 4.6 from her guard position.
WCU faces one of the most prolific scorers in the NCAA as Shay Ciezki takes the floor for the Hoosiers with a 24.9 points per game average. The senior out of Buffalo, N.Y., who transferred from Penn State has scored 20 or more points in seven straight games and 10 times overall, netting 299 points already for Indiana.
Lenée Beaumont and Zania Socka-Nguemen are strong scorers in their own right, averaging 15.2 and 13.0 points per game, respectively. Socka-Nguemen hasn't appeared in a game since a Nov. 28 matchup against Gonzaga, though Beaumont has scored in double figures in 10 straight outings.
