Catamount Football Single-Game Tickets On Sale Now

Western Carolina hosts six home games in Cullowhee in 2025

Cullowhee, N.C. – Single-game tickets and gameday parking for all six of Western Carolina's 2025 home football games at E.J. Whitmire Stadium / Bob Waters Field are on sale now through the Catamount Athletics Ticket Office and online at CatamountSports.com.

Ticket and game day parking sales are available in person at the first-floor Athletics Ticket Office in the Ramsey Center (Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.), by phone at (828) 227-2401, or online by visiting CatamountSports.com/BuyTickets. Advanced parking is $15 and increases to $20 on game day, with options available at the H.F. Robinson Administration lot, Camp Festival, the Field House lot (which includes ADA parking; appropriate credentials and proof of purchase must be presented at the lot entrance), the North Baseball Parking Deck, and the South Baseball Lot.

Western Carolina's first of six home dates is set for Saturday, Aug. 30, as the Catamounts host in-state foe Gardner-Webb, under the lights in Cullowhee with a 6 p.m. kickoff. It's the first meeting between the Catamounts and Runnin' Bulldogs at Whitmire Stadium since 2019, and WCU's first scheduled home night game since 2021, despite concluding the 2023 meeting with Samford under the lights after enduring weather delays. Following the football game, fireworks will again light up the western North Carolina sky with a postgame extravaganza, presented by Ingles, and media partners iHeartMedia and 99.9 FM Kiss Country, and Star 104.3.

WCU's first football game is part of the First Bank First Weekend celebration that includes the home women's soccer match on Sunday, Aug. 31, against SEC foe Tennessee (6 p.m.).

The Catamounts look to "White Out Whitmire" when they host a second in-state foe Elon, on Saturday, Sept. 13, in the backend of a nonconference home-and-home.  WCU rallied past the nationally ranked Phoenix 24-17 on the road last season, a second-straight series win for the Purple & Gold.

WCU opens its quest for its first Southern Conference championship when it hosts Samford on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 2:30 p.m. The Bulldogs represent WCU's Family Weekend opponent and the league opener as the Catamounts look for a third consecutive series win. Chromatic rival Furman then comes to Cullowhee on Heroes and Eastern Band of Cherokee Indian (EBCI) Day on Oct. 11 at 2:30 p.m. WCU amassed 801 yards of total offense, including 652 through the air in last year's 52-20 road victory in Greenville, S.C.

WCU's two November dates include Homecoming against defending SoCon champion Mercer on Nov. 8, and the mountain rivalry "Blue Ridge Border Battle" against ETSU on Saturday, Nov. 15, with a Noon kickoff on regional television as the "Ingles SoCon Game of the Week" through the league's Nexstar package. Fans are asked to Wear Purple on Homecoming as the Catamounts look to halt a slide against the Bears and win the reunion weekend game for a third time in the past four years, while also trying to reclaim "the Rock" traveling trophy in the home finale against the Buccaneers.

With large crowds anticipated for each home date in Cullowhee this fall, purchasing season tickets remains the best option to secure seats for WCU's six home dates, which are also still available through the Catamount Athletics Ticket Office. Options include general admission, reserved bleacher bench, and a few remaining chairback seats, with a Family Zone four-pack in Section FF also available. A $10 transaction fee will be charged for all ticket orders, regardless of payment method (credit card, cash, or check).

Western Carolina's football student-athletes report on Tuesday, July 29, with the first practice of 2025 fall camp set for Wednesday (July 30) morning.
