Cullowhee, N.C. – This August, Western Carolina men's basketball is holding the first-ever "Back the Cats" Men's Basketball Auction to raise support and funds for the Catamount basketball program.
The "Back the Cats" Men's Basketball Auction is an exciting opportunity to support Catamount Athletics, while also having the chance at fantastic items and very unique gameday and travel experiences with the team.
Fans will have the chance to bid on items ranging from memorabilia, such as game-worn WCU jerseys and authentic, signed professional jerseys, to fun-filled golf outings and special vacation packages. Among the most unique bid experiences are special trips with Catamount men's basketball to Power Four opponents Duke, Georgia, and Virginia Tech, all on the 2025-26 schedule.
Registration is currently open for those wishing to participate in the silent auction, with the event scheduled for Friday, Aug. 1. To get registered, fans can also reach out to Associate Head Coach Andre Gray (Email: gray@email.wcu.edu) or CLICK HERE to register.
Head coach Tim Craft and the entire Catamount men's basketball team extend their heartfelt thanks for the unwavering support of Catamount athletics and WCU hoops and this season's Team 98. Events like the summer songwriters concert and this auction help foster our incredible community and enhance the experience of our Western Carolina student-athletes.
