Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina athletics today announced a pair of game time changes for Saturday's men's and women's basketball doubleheader in anticipation of this weekend's impending winter storm, bumping the start times up two hours.

Catamount women's basketball will now host Chattanooga at 11 a.m. ahead of the men's game, now slated to tip at 1:30 p.m., as the Catamounts host the VMI Keydets, both in Southern Conference action on Ingles Court at the Ramsey Center.

Advanced ticket sales are also available online at CatamountSports.com/BuyTickets, or at the arena on Saturday.

Weather forecasts call for cold temperatures and precipitation, including the potential of freezing rain, sleet, and snow to fall throughout the region beginning on Saturday and persisting throughout the weekend. Game times were adjusted in the interest of spectator safety and to help accommodate the safe travel of the visiting teams.

Western Carolina women's basketball returns to the court on Thursday (Jan. 22) at 6 p.m., hosting mountain-rival East Tennessee State from Ingles Court at the Ramsey Center. Thursday's action is slated as a "Blackout Ramsey" event where the team will wear its black uniforms at home while encouraging fans to wear their black WCU gear.

All games this weekend are slated to be shown on ESPN+ (paid subscription required), with live audio coverage through the Catamount Sports Network available online at CatamountSports.com and on 105.7 FM / 540 AM WRGC "The River" in Sylva for the men's game.
