Madison, Wis. – Western Carolina men's golf continues its busy fall stretch, opening play Sunday at the 2026 Wisconsin Invitational, hosted by the Badgers at the par-72, 7,289-yard University Ridge Golf Course. The Catamounts return to the tournament for the first time since 2023-24, making their third appearance at the event since 2015.
The 54-hole event is scheduled for 18 holes on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Live scoring for each round is available through
the Scoreboard app, powered by Clippd, and linked online at CatamountSports.com.
In addition to the Catamounts and host Badgers, the 19-team field includes golfers from Appalachian State, Drake, Illinois State, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Northern Illinois, Oakland, Ohio, Omaha, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois, Southern Miss, St. Thomas (Minn.), UW-Green Bay, Valparaiso, and Western Kentucky.
Paired with golfers from Illinois State, North Dakota State, and Western Kentucky, the Catamount scoring five opens on the front nine off the No. 1 tee box beginning at 11 a.m. CT / Noon ET on Sunday.

Connor Warren flanks him as the No. 2 seed after leading WCU in the most recent event, the Highlands Invitational.
Jace Butcher is seeded third, followed by
Connor Williams and
Andrew Korytoski, each representing the Purple & Gold.
