2018-19 (Freshman): Named to the 2019 SoCon All-Conference Second Team and an All-Freshman selection - becoming only the fifth Catamount women’s tennis player to become a member of the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team and the first Catamount in program history to be named to the All-Freshman Team as well as all-conference … Her 16 wins at No. 2 singles tied the school record for most singles wins … She rode a 12-match winning streak before falling against Wofford in the final match of the regular season … Smith also ended with a record of 5-2 in conference play as her only losses were to Furman and Wofford in singles … She ended doubles play with a record of 14-7 playing the majority of her matches at No. 2 doubles with teammate Julia Pezzuco with a record of 12-5 at that position ... 2018-19 SoCon Honor Roll. 

Smith, a native of Bryan, Texas, was an ITA Summer Circuit Texas A&M Singles finalist. She finished third in the Texas 5A High School Singles Tournament while competing for Bryan High School. She is a two-time National Open doubles champion and was the National Hard Court Doubles Consolation winner. She has also been recognized for her sportsmanship twice at the Texas Section and twice by the USTA.

She was a  4-star recruit according to tennisrecruiting.net and has been ranked as high as 106 in the class of 2018. She has consistently been ranked among the top-10 in the state of Texas in her age group.
