2022 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 10 of the team’s 11 games with nine starts along the offensive line at left guard … Played over 400 snaps among WCU's starting five along the front line in helping the Catamount offense set a single-season school record of 5,339 yards of total offense … Credited with one solo tackle at Georgia Tech (Sept. 10) … Was named to the 2022 Southern Conference All-Freshman team as an offensive lineman.

Prior to Western Carolina: Transferred to WCU for the spring semester from Charleston Southern where he signed in the early period in December 2020; High School: Prepped at Pisgah High under head coach – and former Catamount – Brett Chappell …Was a three-year starter along the offensive line and a team captain as a senior … Was a three-star recruit by 247Sports in the 2021 signing class … Also earned all-conference honors in track & field.
 
Personal: Is the son of Karen and Rick Henson … Older brother, Kameron Walker, plays football at NC State.
