Sequoyah National Golf Club is located 45 minutes west of Asheville, N.C., and less than a 30-minute drive from Cullowhee in Cherokee, nestled among the oaks, the firs, and flowered valleys in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Owned by the Eastern Band of the Cherokee, this Robert Trent Jones II design is open to the public and offers golfers an idyllic 18-hole journey, filled with panoramic vistas on every hole, beautiful landscapes, and a fun mountain golf experience.
Sequoyah National plays 6,600 yards from the back tees to a par 72 and features impeccable bent grass greens with bluegrass fairways and a large practice area with putting and chipping greens. Jaw-dropping scenery from each tee box and green highlights the risk-reward design of this unique mountain venue. Spectacular elevation changes through the peaks and valleys of the Smokies provide stunning drop shot par threes, several drivable par fours and a fantastic collection of go-for-broke par fives.
