2022 (Freshman): Made 15 appearances as a true freshman including two starts and 13 relief efforts out of the bullpen … Threw a combined 23.0 innings with a 14.09 ERA and a 1-2 overall record … Recorded 30 strikeouts against 14 walks, posting strikeouts in 12 of his 15 appearances … Tallied 20 ground ball outs and 19 fly outs … A combined 17 of the 42 hits allowed went for extra bases – 11 doubles, a triple and five home runs … Started on the opening weekend of 2022, making his collegiate debut against Niagara (Feb. 19), tossing 3.2 innings … Fanned six in two innings of two-hit, scoreless relief against Gardner-Webb at home on April 6 … Then struck out a career-high nine in a career-long 5.0 inning relief effort against Gardner-Webb (April 19) to earn his first collegiate victory in the 11-3 win.
