Biography

2026 (Redshirt Sophomore): Started 54 of the 57 games in which he saw action, including 51 starts behind the plate at catcher and three starts at designated hitter ... Finished with a .286 (54-of-189) batting average, with a team-best 18 doubles, and was second on the team with two triples and tied for second with 11 home runs ... A combined 23 of his 54 hits came with two outs ... Finished with 15 multi-hit and 11 multi-RBI games ... Had a 10-game hitting streak, including the final four games of 2025 and the first six of 2026 - streak included five multi-hit games ... Was fourth on the squad with 40 RBI, 16 coming with two outs ... Plated a career-high three four times on the season, doing so against George Washington (Feb. 13), Bowling Green (Feb. 21), at Winthrop (April 2), and at Wofford (May 3) ... In a 3-for-5 effort against USC Upstate (April 7), doubled and tripled ... Collected WCU's lone two hits with a double and a home run in a road loss at Wofford (May 1) ... Named the first Southern Conference Player of the Week (Feb. 16), collecting three hits in five official plate appearances, but delivered a pair of walk-off base knocks in the sweep over George Washington, including a walk-off 10th-inning home run and a pinch-hit game-winning double ... Drew a career-high three walks against Samford (March 22) and at VMI (April 19) ... Homered twice in the UNCG series (May 14-16) ... Named to the second-team All-Southern Conference at catcher.

2025 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 36 games with 31 starts, each coming behind the plate … Closed the year strong, going 8-for-17 (.471) over the final four games of the year to raise his seasonal batting average 34 points to .298 (31-of-104) to end the season … Recorded 12 extra-base hits, including six doubles and six home runs … Scored 20 runs with 21 RBI, 13 coming with two outs … Threw out nine would-be base stealers … Finished with six multiple-hit games, including three two-hit, one three-hit, and two four-hit efforts … Had five multi-RBI efforts, with two RBI three times, three RBI once, and had one of the team’s five, 5+ RBI performances … Saw his first collegiate action with his first career start on opening weekend at Georgia Southern (Feb. 15), collecting his first career hit in a 1-for-3 effort … Hit his first career home run in a 2-for-4, career-high five RBI effort against Rider (Feb. 28) … Tallied a career-high four base hits twice, going 4-for-5 with a double at Georgia State (March 7) and closed the regular season with the same 4-for-5, double performance at UNCG (May 17) … Went 4-for-12 at the SoCon Tournament with a two-run home run against VMI (May 21).
