Biography

2022 (Senior): Played in 56 of the team’s 57 games on the season with 50 starts including 47 in left field, twice in right field, and once as the designated hitter … Batted .289 on the season with 48 hits in 166 plate appearances, posting 17 extra-base hits with 12 doubles and five home runs for a .452 slugging percentage … Scored 33 runs while driving in 34 in his final season including 16 with two outs … Added 22 walks and seven HBPs to bolster a .385 on-base percentage … Finished the year with 12 multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI efforts including a team-best five RBI effort against Niagara (Feb. 20), homering a career-high two times in the win … Posted a season-best three hits thrice including against Niagara, vs. Cincinnati (3-for-4 on March 13) in the First Pitch Invitational, and finished 3-for-4 against UT Martin (March 20) … Had a five-game hitting and a 10-game reached base safely streak during the season … Credited with 68 putouts and six outfield assists on the season … Selected as the prestigious Leggett No. 7 Legacy recipient for 2022, wearing the No. 7 jersey through his senior campaign ... Named to the 2021-22 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll

2021 (Junior*): Played in 43 games with 37 starts in the outfield including 32 starts in center field and five in right field … Finished the season with a .311 batting average, raising his average nearly 50 points over the final three weeks of the regular season after finishing the season on a season-long eight-game hitting streak … Collected 38 hits including 11 doubles, a triple and a home run with 29 RBI and 30 runs scored … Batted .342 (13-of-38) with two outs with 16 two-out RBI … Posted 11, two-hit games with multiple RBI seven times … Drew 28 walks and was hit by a pitch three times to bolster his .448 on-base percentage … Had a streak of reaching base safely in 15-straight games … Plated three runs against St. John’s (March 14) with a four-RBI performance in a 2-for-3 showing against VMI (April 11) … Finished 5-for-11 (.455) in the final regular season series at The Citadel with two doubles and four RBI … Drove in four in a 2-for-4 effort against Wofford (May 29) in the SoCon tournament … Batted 7-for-15 (.467) in the SoCon Tournament with three doubles and five RBI ... 2020 (Junior): Played in 14 games with 10 starts coming in the outfield … Batted .222 (8-for-36) on the shortened season with three doubles and a home run … Drove in five runs while scoring four … Made his WCU debut in the season-opener as a pinch hitter, drawing a walk and scoring a run against Chicago State (Feb. 14) … Made his first WCU start against Chicago State (Feb. 15), finishing 1-for-4 with a RBI … Legged out his first extra base hit as a Catamount vs. Saint Joseph’s (Feb. 23) in tournament action in Myrtle Beach … Drove in two runs against Michigan State (Feb. 29) … Hit his first home run for the Purple & Gold against Bryant (March 11) ... Named to the 2019-20 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll Received the Southern Conference Commissioner's Medal Season shortened because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of spring sports in mid-March … Homered against Ohio State in a game played at Prasco Park in Ohio in the fall practice season.
 
Prior to Western Carolina: Transferred to WCU from Northern Oklahoma College … Batted .342 as a sophomore (2018-19) with 13 doubles, three triples, and nine home runs while driving in 34 RBI and scoring a total of 53 runs … Was also hit by a pitch 11 times … Added nine stolen bases in his second collegiate season … Earned NJCAA All-Tournament team plaudits after helping lead Northern Oklahoma to the NJCAA Division II National Championship, hitting 11-of-25 (.440) across the bracket … As a freshman (2017-18), was 4-of-27 (.148) with a double and a triple, scoring seven runs and driving in two.
