2026 (Junior): SoCon First-Team All-Conference selection... she was one of three players to play and start in all 58 games... Dirks made 57 starts in left field... she put together an impressive offensive season, finishing fourth on the team with a .342 batting average, tallying the third-most hits on the team with 65, which included 11 doubles, two triples and tied for second on the team with 15 home runs... she finished sixth in the league with her home runs and tied for fourth with her teammate Maya McPherson tallying 57 RBIs... she also totaled 42 runs, and a .653 slugging percentage....one of six Catamounts to eclipse the .320 batting average... finished third on the team with 17 multi-hit games along with a team-best 16 multi-RBI games for the Purple & Gold.... finished sixth in the league with her 66 hits... she tied for 10th with her 11 two-baggers... she had at least one hit in 41 games with her 17 multi-hit games... drew a team-best 25 walks and added five steals to her strong offensive stat line... matched her career-high with four hits in a home victory over Ohio (March 7) with two runs scored and three RBIs... had a pair of two homer games against Winthrop (Feb. 17) and USC Upstate (March 24)... added a triple against College of CHarleston (Feb. 13) and UNCG (March 28)... had eight games with at least three runs driven in including a career-high six as part of a 12-4 run-rule win to open the 2026 season against N.C. A&T (Feb. 11)... opened the 2026 season with an impressive month tallying 20 hits with four doubles, six homers and 25 RBIs... had a nine-game hit streak in mid-March that saw Dirks hit .406, including 13 hits, 10 RBIs and four homers... in SoCon play, Dirks finished with a .310 (22-of-71) average with 11 runs, five doubles, five homers, 16 RBIs and a triple... also drew 11 walks... recorded a .949 fielding percentage defensively patrolling left field... part of an offense that broke single-season team records in batting average (.313), slugging percentage (.505), on-base percentage (.385), hits (504), doubles (73), runs (368), runs batted in (337), total bases (812), steals (79), and sacrifice flies (24)... 2025 (Sophomore): Saw action in 51 games with 51 starts including 44 starts at shortstop and five as the Catamounts designated player… finished second on the team with a .309 average with 25 runs scored and 30 RBIs, ranking second in both runs and runs batted in… recorded 46 hits – third on the team… added seven doubles along with a team-high 10 homers… became first Catamount since 2022 to hit double-digit homers – last – Bailey Huneycutt (15) & Myra Twitty (11)… added four steals and a sacrifice fly… drew 13 walks… finished second on the team with 14 multi-hit games including a career-high four hits against Tulsa (March 19)… finished with nine multi-RBI games for second-most on the squad… had multi-double game against Presbyterian (March 4)… had four homers in SoCon play…Earned SoCon Player of the Week on April 28 after going .700 (7-for-10) with a pair of homers and seven runs scored… had homers in back-to-back games on multiple occasions including March 8 (Boston Univ. & Norfolk State) and April 26-27 (Furman)… tied for second in league play on team with 17 hits…CSC All-District Team Selection…2024-25 SoCon Commissioner's Medal... 2025 Spring Academic All-SoCon… 2024-25 SoCon Academic Honor Roll...
2024 (Freshman): Saw action in 51 games with 49 starts including 40 starts at shortstop… batted .255 with 20 runs scored and 20 RBI… added second-most doubles on the team with eight along with three homers… picked up a pair of stolen bases… tallied seven multi-hit games including a season-high three on three occasions against Hampton, NCCU and UNCG… tallied a multi-double showing at ETSU on April 6… had two of three homers in home games against Kent State on March 10 and Georgia State on March 13… hit grand slam in SoCon play at Furman on March 23… drew a team-high 19 walks… scored 10 runs in SoCon play… earned SoCon Player of the Week honors on April 8 after hitting .538 with seven hits and five runs scored… she also drew four walks and knocked in runs…  part of three WCU freshman to receive freshman team honors from the league for the first time since 2021… 2023-24 SoCon Academic Honor Roll...Â
HIGH SCHOOL:Â Dirks joins the Catamounts after a four-year scholastic career at Davie County High School where she set the school record for career home runs with 23. During her senior season, she batted .513 with 40 hits, 11 doubles, six triples, and 10 home runs while driving in 39 runs with 38 runs scored. Dirks earned a spot on the 2023 HighSchoolOT All-State second team and was named All-State and All-District her sophomore through junior seasons and was tabbed as the district Player of the Year during her junior and senior seasons. Dirks was a four-time Central Piedmont All-Conference player. Her sister, London, plays softball at Charlotte.
