April Bass joined the Catamount Club in February of 2020 after spending three years at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in the Seahawk Club as the Development Assistant. 
 
During her time in the UNCW Athletics Department, Bass started out as a Seahawk Club intern and later became the Development Assistant. She raised over $22,000 for the Seahawk Club’s general scholarship fund. Bass also assisted directors daily, worked with directors to develop and implement stewardship strategies, and actively engaged with new and lapsed members of the Seahawk Club through social events. 
 
A North Carolina native, Bass was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. She holds a B.A. in Sports Leadership from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
