Prior to Western Carolina: Averaged over 25 points per game as a senior at Hickory High ... Was named to the 2014 NCPreps.com 3-A All-State basketball team and was also selected to the first team N.C. Basketball Coaches Association (NCBCA) All-District 10 boy's basketball team ... Played for the West squad in the North Carolina East-West All-Star game.
