Biography

Career: Closed his WCU career with 2,079 career yards on 403 rushes over 40 games including five games of over 100 yards rushing … Scored 20 touchdowns on the ground adding 560 receiving yards and two scores out of the backfield … Finished his four years in Cullowhee with 2,737 all-purpose yards.
 
2020-21 (Senior): Started all nine games in the offensive backfield at running back … Named first-team All-Southern Conference at running back by both the league' … Rushed for 718 yards to rank second in the Southern Conference with a 79.8 yard per game average of nine games – a mark that improved to 88.5 yards per game against conference foes to rank third overall … Recorded double-digit rushes in each game on the season ... Rushed for six scores, each coming in league play, to lead the squad with 36 points ... Collected SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honors in mid-March after amassing a career-best 265 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in WCU's win over The Citadel (March 13), rushing for a career-high 220 yards, the 15th 200-yard rushing performance in program history, and eighth-best by a Catamount all-time … Scored a season-best three rushing touchdowns at Mercer (March20), adding a season-high five receptions in Macon.

2019 (Redshirt Junior): Played in 11 of the team’s 12 games on the season with eight starts at running back … Finished the season with 530 rushing yards on 132 attempts (4.0 yards per carry), adding 233 receiving yards on 19 receptions (12.3 yards per reception) … Twice eclipsed the 100-yard rushing plateau and added his first 100-yard receiving game … Scored six touchdowns including four on the ground and two receiving scores … Recorded 247 all-purpose yards including 137 rushing yards with two TDs on a career-high 28 rushes, adding two catches for 110 receiving yards including a career-long 78-yard touchdown in the road win at VMI (Nov. 2) … Earned Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors on Nov. 4 following the VMI victory … Accounted for 171 all-purpose yards including a second 100-yard rushing game in the overtime win at home over ETSU (Nov. 9), rushing 19 times for 124 yards and a TD … Named to the 2019-20 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll … Credited with a solo tackle at UTC.

2018 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in all 11 of the team’s games with four starts in the offensive backfield at running back coming in the final four games of the regular season … Finished the year with 531 rushing yards on 80 carries with four touchdowns for 24 total points … Had double-digit carries in three games … Added nine receptions for 142 yards out of the backfield and six kickoff returns for 98 yards … Posted 771 all-purpose yards, averaging 70.1 yards per game on the year … Rushed 10 times for 95 yards and a TD against VMI (Sept. 22) … Eclipsed the 100-yard mark on the ground once with 122 yards on 13 carries against The Citadel (Nov. 3) … Caught three passes in both of the final two games of the regular season, tallying 22 yards against Wofford (Nov. 10) and a career-best 106 receiving yards at North Carolina (Nov. 17) that included a 64-yard reception ... Named to the 2018-19 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2017 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in nine of WCU's 12 games on the year with one start ... Made his collegiate debut with his first carry and first career reception in the season opener at Hawai'i (Sept. 2) ... Rushed for 300 yards on 60 carries on the season with six touchdowns on the ground ... Caught six passes for 54 yards ... Finished the season with 354 all-purpose yards ... Recorded his first career touchdown in the home-opening win over Davidson (Sept. 9) ... Rushed just once for a one-yard TD at nationally-ranked Wofford (Oct. 7) ... Rushed for a career-high 139 yards on a career-best 21 carries, matching a school-record with four rushing touchdowns including a school-benchmark three scores on the ground in the second half against ETSU (Oct. 14) ... Named to the 2018 Southern Conference All-Freshman team ... Credited with one tackle assist.

2016 (Freshman): Did not see game action, taking a redshirt ... Rushed eight times for 23 yards in WCU's annual Spring Game.

Prior to Western Carolina: In October of 2014, became the first Mecklenburg County prep football player to rush for more than 400 yards in a single game amassing 405 yards on 30 carries with four touchdowns ... As a junior was the runner-up in the 4th Annual Charlotte Football Awards for the Running Back of the Year award and was a third-team offense All-Observer selection ... High school coach was Aaron Brand.
